This Louisville Slugger is from a limited edition, issued to Yankees players, personnel and select VIPs. Decorating the barrel are the legend "New York Yankees World Champions 1958" in green, and the names of the players and coaches in gold lettering. Chief among those represented are Mickey Mantle, "Casey" Stengel, "Yogi" Berra, Frank Crosetti, Hank Bauer, "Whitey" Ford, "Moose" Skowron, Enos Slaughter, Bob Turley, Gil McDougald, Bobby Richardson, Tony Kubek, Elston Howard, and Ryne Duren. Condition is excellent, with strong lettering integrity, and minor wear. Given these celebratory black bats were made in small quantities, they enjoy perpetual high demand.
